第1章 総則

第1条 本会は日本アニメ-ション学会(Japan Society for Animation Studies )と称する。

第2条 本会の事務局を東京都八王子市宇津貫町1556番地、東京造形大学研究事務室内におく。

第3条 本会は理事会の決議により、必要に応じて支部、委員会、研究部会を設けることができる。

第2章 目的および事業

第4条 本会はアニメ-ションに関する研究を推進し、アニメ-ションについての学問的関心をもつ個人、法人および団体によって構成し広くアニメ-ション文化の向上に寄与することを目的とする。

第5条 本会は前条の目的を達成するため、次の事業を行う。
(1) 年次大会、研究発表会その他の開催。
(2) 会員相互の情報交換。
(3) 機関誌、その他の出版物の刊行。
(4) 共同研究機関の設置と共同研究の推進。
(5) 国内および国際学術機関との交流。
(6) その他本会の目的を達成するのに必要な事業。

第3章 会員

第6条 会員は次の4種類とする。
(1) 正会員 アニメ-ションについて関心をもち、その研究と業務に直接または間接に従事している個人。
(2) 賛助会員 本会の目的に賛成し、本会の事業に協力する個人、法人、および団体。
(3) 名誉会員 本会に特に功労のあった個人で、理事会の決議により推薦し、総会の承認を得る。
(4) 機関誌購読会員 アニメーションの研究に資することを目的に本会機関誌を購読する法人、および団体。

第7条 本会の入会については次の通りとする。
(1) 本会に入会しようとするものは、正会員1名の推薦を受け、理事会の承認を得なければならない。
(2) 名誉会員に推薦された者は、入会の手続きを必要とせず、総会の承認と本人の承諾をもって会員となるものとする。

第8条 会費の納入は次の通りとする。
(1) 会員は所定の会費を納入しなければならない。
(2) 名誉会員は会費を納入することを要しない。

第9条 会員は本会の各種会合に出席し、また機関誌の配布を受けるなど、会員としての 権利を行使し本会の事業に関する諸種の便宜を受けることができる。

第10条 本会会員で死亡および法人、団体の解散があった場合は会員の資格を喪失した ものと認める。

第11条 本会の会員で名誉を毀損したもの、あるいは経済的義務を履行しないものに対しては、理事会の決議により退会を求めることができる。

第4章 役員

第12条 本会に次の役員をおく。
(1) 会長  1名
(2) 副会長 若干名
(3) 理事  若干名
(4) 監事  2名
(5) 顧問  若干名

第13条 役員の選出は次により行う。
(1) 会長  理事会の決議により正会員の中から推薦し、総会の承認を得る。
(2) 副会長 理事会の決議により正会員の中から推薦し、総会の承認を得る。
(3) 理事  正会員の互選により定める。他に理事会の推薦により会長が理事若干名を指名することができる。
(4) 監事  理事会の決議により会長が指名する。会員か否かを問わない。
(5) 顧問  理事会の決議により会長が指名する。会員か否かを問わない。

第14条 役員の任期は2年とし、再任については内規によって限定することができる。

第15条 会長は本会を代表して会務を統括し、総会、理事会、を招集する。
副会長は会長を補佐し、会長に事故あるときはその任務を代行する。
理事は会務を分掌する。
監事は本会の経理状況および会務を監査し、総会、理事会に出席して意見を述べることができる。
顧問は会務の相談に与かり、総会または理事会に出席して意見を述べることができる。

第5章 会議

第16条 会議は総会、理事会とし会長がその議長となる。

第17条 総会は通常総会および臨時総会とし、通常総会は毎会計年度終了後3カ月以内 に開催する。また臨時総会は理事会の決議または正会員総数の5分の1以上から要求があった場合開催することができる。

第18条 総会の決議事項は次の通りとする。
(1) 会則の変更
(2) 正副会長の承認
(3) 予算ならびに決算
(4) 事業計画ならびに事業報告
(5) その他理事会において必要と認めた事項

第19条 総会、理事会は正会員である構成の3分の1以上の出席(委任状を含む)を以 て成立し、議事は出席者の過半数の賛成を得て決定する。ただし、可否同数のときは議長がこれを定める。

第20条 議決権は正会員1人1票とする。

第21条 総会招集は必要な付議事項を少なくとも2週間前に会員に通知する。

第22条 理事会は会長または理事の半数以上が必要と認めたとき、会長が招集する。

第6章 資産および会計

第23条 本会の資産は以下のものとする。
(1) 会費
(2) 事業に伴う収入
(3) 寄付金品
(4) その他の収入

第24条 本会の会計は以下のものとする。
(1) 会費
(2) 事業に伴う収入
(3) 寄付金品
(4) その他の収入
既納の会費、寄付金等は払い戻さない。

第25条 本会の会計年度は毎年4月1日に始まり翌年3月 31日に終わる。

第7章 補則

第26条 本会の解散は総会および理事会で3分の2以上の賛成が得られた場合、これを行うことができる。

第27条 本会解散の場合、清算の結果生じた残余の処分は総会の決議による方法によって行う。

第28条 本会則実施に当たって必要な事項は別に定める内規によって行う。内規は理事若干名および会長が委嘱する正会員若干名により審議し、理事会がこれを定める。

第29条 本学会で設ける賞について、その規定は別に設ける。

付則

  1. 本会則は 2001年 4月 1日より実施する。
  2. 会費は次の通り定める。
    (1) 正会員     年間   8,000円。
    (2) 賛助会員    年間1口 50,000円。
    (3) 機関誌購読会員 年間   15,000円。

Regulations of the Japan Society for Animation Studies

 

Chapter 1. General Rules

Article 1. This Society shall be named the Japan Society for Animation Studies.

Article 2. The secretariat of the Society shall be located in the research office of Tokyo Zokei University, 1556 Utsunukimachi, Hachioji, Tokyo.

Article 3. The Society may establish branches, committees, and research groups as necessary by a resolution of the board of directors.

Chapter 2. Purpose and Projects

Article 4. The Society, which is comprised of individuals, corporations and organizations with academic interests in animation, aims to promote research on animation and contribute to the improvement of animation culture.

Article 5. The Society will carry out the following projects to achieve the purpose in the preceding article.
 (1) Organization of annual conferences, research presentations and other events
 (2) Information exchange between members
 (3) Publication of journals and other publications
 (4) Establishment of joint research institutes and promotion of joint research
 (5) Exchanges with domestic and international academic institutes
 (6) Other projects necessary to achieve the purpose of the Society

Chapter 3. Members

Article 6. There are four types of members:
 (1) Regular members: individuals who are interested in animation and are directly or indirectly engaged in research and work on animation
 (2) Supporting members: individuals, corporations, and organizations that support the purpose of the Society and cooperate with the Society’s projects
 (3) Honorary members: individuals who have made a special contribution to the Society, and who have been recommended by a resolution of the board of directors and then approved at a general meeting
 (4) Journal subscribing members: corporations and organizations that subscribe to the journal of the Society for the purpose of contributing to animation research

Article 7. Requirements for membership of the Society shall be as follows:
 (1) Those who intend to join the Society must be recommended by one regular member and then approved by the board of directors.
 (2) Those who are recommended as honorary members do not need to apply for membership and shall become members after approval at a general meeting and their own consent.

Article 8. Payment of the membership fee shall be as follows:
 (1) Members must pay the prescribed membership fee.
 (2) Honorary members shall not be required to pay the membership fee.

Article 9. Members may exercise their rights as members and receive various benefits related to the projects of the Society, such as attending various meetings of the Society and receiving the journal.

Article 10. If a member of the Society dies or if a member corporation or organization is dissolved, it shall be considered that the member’s qualification has been lost.

Article 11. Members of the Society who have defamed other people or organizations or who do not fulfill their financial obligations may be requested to withdraw from the Society by a resolution of the board of directors.

Chapter 4. Officers

Article 12. The Society shall have the following officers:
 (1) One president
 (2) A few vice-presidents
 (3) A few directors
 (4) Two auditors
 (5) A few advisors

Article 13. Officers shall be elected as follows:
 (1) President: a regular member recommended by a resolution of the board of directors and then approved at a general meeting
 (2) Vice-presidents: a regular member recommended by a resolution of the board of directors and then approved at a general meeting
 (3) Directors: determined by a vote among regular members. The president may also appoint some directors by recommendation of the board of directors.
 (4) Auditors: appointed by the president based on a resolution of the board of directors. It doesn’t matter whether the auditors are members or not.
 (5) Advisors: appointed by the president based on a resolution of the board of directors. It doesn’t matter whether the advisors are members or not.

Article 14. The term of office of officers shall be two years, and reappointment may be limited by the Bylaws.

Article 15. The president shall supervise the affairs of the Society on behalf of the Society and convene general meetings and board meetings.
Vice-presidents shall assist the president and take over the duties of the president if the president is unable to fulfill their duties.
Directors shall share their duties at the Society.
Auditors shall audit the financial status and affairs of the Society, and may attend general and board meetings to express their opinions.
Advisers shall consult on the affairs of the Society and may attend general and board meetings to express their opinions.

Chapter 5. Meetings

Article 16. Meetings shall include general and board meetings, and the president shall serve as the speaker.

Article 17. General meetings shall include ordinary and extraordinary general meetings, and an ordinary general meeting shall be held within three months after the end of each fiscal year. An extraordinary general meeting may be held if requested by a resolution of the board of directors or by one-fifth or more of the total number of regular members.

Article 18. The matters to be resolved at general meetings shall be as follows:
 (1) Change of the Society Regulations
 (2) Approval of the president and vice presidents
 (3) Budget and settlement of accounts
 (4) Project proposals and reports
 (5) Other matters deemed necessary by the board of directors

Article 19. General and board meetings shall be established with the attendance of one-third or more of the regular members (including the power of attorney), and the proceedings shall be decided with the approval of a majority of the attendees. However, in a tie vote, the speaker shall cast the deciding vote.

Article 20. Concerning voting rights, each regular member may only cast one vote.

Article 21. A convocation notice for a general meeting shall specify matters to be discussed and shall be given to members at least two weeks in advance.

Article 22. The board of directors shall be convened by the president when the president or more than half of the directors deem it necessary.

Chapter 6. Assets and Accounting

Article 23. The assets of the Society shall be as follows:
(1) Membership fees
(2) Income from projects
(3) Donated money and goods
(4) Other income

Article 24. The accounting of the Society shall be done regarding the following:
(1) Membership fees
(2) Income from projects
(3) Donated money and goods
(4) Other income
Paid membership fees and donations shall not be refunded.

Article 25. The fiscal year of the Society shall begin on April 1 of each year and end on March 31 of the following year.

Chapter 7. Auxiliary Provisions

Article 26. The Society may be dissolved if the affirmative votes of two-thirds or more are obtained at a general meeting and a board meeting.

Article 27. In the case of dissolution of the Society, the residuals resulting from the liquidation shall be disposed of by a resolution at a general meeting.

Article 28. Matters necessary for implementing the Society Regulations shall be carried out in accordance with the Bylaws stipulated separately. The Bylaws shall be deliberated by some directors and regular members commissioned by the president, and established by the board of directors.

Article 29. The rules of the awards set up by the Society shall be provided separately.
Supplementary Provisions
1. These Society Regulations shall come into effect on April 1, 2001.
2. The membership fees shall be set as follows:
 (1) Regular members: 8,000 yen per year
 (2) Supporting member: 50,000 yen per unit per year
 (3) Journal subscribing members: 15,000 yen per year
